Science-Hero
Learn science while playing video games.

How Science-Hero Works
Science-Hero is educational software for schools that combines learning with popular video games.
Students watch short videos organized by subject and chapter, then answer related questions while gaming. The videos provide the learning, and the questions reinforce what they've learned. First, learn it. Then do it.

How Science-Hero Works in 5 Steps.
1) Science-Hero flashcards and learning videos reach nearly half a million people a day. Our short, visual explanations make concepts in science and history easy to understand.
2) First, learn: Students watch short educational videos covering an entire chapter (15–20 videos, approximately 50 seconds each).
3) Then, play: Students practice what they've learned while playing their favorite video games. Every correct answer earns 7 minutes of game time, accumulating up to an hour. Learning beforehand makes gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
4) At school: Science-Hero fits alongside other school activities, typically as a fun, educational reward for students who complete their work and meet classroom goals. Families can use it the same way at home.
5) The Science: Science-Hero combines game-based motivation, microlearning, retrieval practice, and meaningful learning (connecting new information to existing knowledge). The videos provide the learning, while related questions during gameplay reinforce what students have learned. First, learn it. Then do it.
