How Science-Hero Works Summary:
1) Science-Hero flashcards and learning videos reach nearly half a million people a day through YouTube and Google Search. Our short, visual explanations make complex concepts in science and history simple and easy to understand.
2) How it works with gaming: First, watch the videos for an entire chapter (15–20 videos per chapter, 50 seconds each).
3) Then practice what you've learned while playing your favorite video games. Earn 7 minutes of game time for every correct answer, accumulating up to an hour of uninterrupted gameplay. If you remember what you've learned, you can answer questions quickly and keep playing. If you don't, you'll spend extra time reviewing a short explanation. Learning beforehand and remembering the material makes gaming smoother and more enjoyable.
4) Science-Hero combines game-based motivation, microlearning, retrieval practice, and meaningful learning (connecting what you're learning to something you already know). Our videos provide the learning, while recurring questions during gameplay motivate you to remember and reinforce what you've learned.
